Charmes de Kirwan has an appealing fruity supple palate and aroma with a smooth long finish.
FULL TASTING NOTE AND WINE MAKING –
This is the second wine of Chateau Kirwan and it has been returned to former glories in recent years. Charmes de Kirwan from the Margaux commune has a fruity, floral bouquet, supple and generous in the mouth and on the palate is full of ripe cassis and cherry flavours with a hint of spice on the smooth finish. it is made from a blend of the following key Bordeaux grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
THE PRODUCER –
Charmes de Kirwan, the second estate wine, was introduced in 1993. The younger sibling of the wines of Château Kirwan, Charmes de Kirwan generally comes from the harvest of the vineyard’s younger vines, but it receives the same attention as the great growth.
