The Morgon appellation spans 1,100 hectares with schist and granite soils, producing wines often called the most "Burgundian of the Beaujolais crus." The estate’s Morgon comes from the "Grand Cras" climate, with 55-year-old Gamay vines planted at 10,000 vines per hectare. Harvested manually, the grapes are vatted whole, with vinification and aging in temperature-controlled vats. The wine features a brilliant carmine color with purple highlights, offering aromas of ripe black fruits, citrus, and spice. On the palate, it's fresh and harmonious, with silky tannins. It pairs well with beef, coq au vin, or beef bourguignon and ages gracefully for 5 to 10 years.
