A contemporary and elegant Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills, this wine opens with intense aromas of white flowers, lemon blossom, citrus, and nectarine, complemented by smoky notes from perfectly integrated oak.
 
Bright acidity and generous flavour provide balance and the potential to age gracefully. The fruit was hand-picked predominantly from Shaw + Smith’s Lenswood vineyard, with low yields achieved through careful pruning and thinning.
 
After chilling overnight, the grapes were whole bunch pressed and fermented in French oak, with one-third new barrels, and matured for nine months on lees before bottling.
