Nomad Outland Whisky is an innovative blended whisky created from 30 malt and grain whiskies sourced from Speyside in the Scottish Highlands. After initial maturation and blending in Scotland, the whisky travels to Jerez in southern Spain, where it is finished for at least 12 months in old Pedro Ximénez sherry casks within the historic González Byass cellars. Jerez’s warmer climate and the richly seasoned casks impart distinctive notes of raisins, honey, dried fruit, vanilla and sweet spice. Because its maturation continues outside Scotland, it is marketed as an “Outland Whisky” rather than a Blended Scotch Whisky. The supplied bottle identifies its González Byass Pedro Ximénez heritage and sherry-cask finish.

Production Notes
Thirty malt and grain whiskies from Speyside are blended after maturing in Scotland, with an average age of approximately six years. The blend is transported to Jerez and refined for a minimum of one additional year in old Pedro Ximénez sherry casks under the distinctive conditions of the González Byass cellars.
Tasting Notes
Bright amber with aromas of malt, oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry. The palate is smooth and elegant, offering raisins, honey, dried fruit and warm spice, followed by a long finish of vanilla and raisined nuts.
Food Pairing
Pair with mature cheese, cured meats, roasted nuts, fruitcake, sticky toffee pudding, dark chocolate or desserts containing raisins and figs. Enjoy neat, over a large ice cube or in a whisky-based cocktail.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Islington Wines).
