Dewar’s 8 Year Old Caribbean Smooth is a distinctive Blended Scotch Whisky that brings together traditional Scottish blending expertise and the vibrant influence of Caribbean rum. It is created from as many as 30 single-malt and grain whiskies, each matured for at least eight years, before being finished in specially selected Caribbean rum casks. This finishing process enriches Dewar’s smooth, honeyed house style with caramelised brown sugar, molasses, tropical fruit and toasted coconut, producing an approachable whisky that can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in a refreshing Highball.

Production Notes
Up to 30 malt and grain whiskies are matured for a minimum of eight years before blending. The whisky is then finished in hand-selected Caribbean rum casks, which introduce additional tropical-fruit, molasses, brown-sugar and caramel characteristics.
Tasting Notes
Crisp apple and vanilla aromas open into layers of caramelised brown sugar, molasses and juicy tropical fruit. Toasted coconut and soft caramel sweetness develop across the smooth palate and continue through the finish.
Food Pairing
Pair with jerk chicken, barbecued pork, glazed ham, grilled pineapple, coconut desserts, banana bread or salted caramel pudding. It is also excellent neat, over ice or mixed with soda in a Whisky Highball.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
