Dewar’s 12 Year Old is a premium Blended Scotch Whisky crafted from as many as 30 single-malt and grain whiskies, including aged reserves from Dewar’s own distilleries. Following its signature two-stage ageing process, the blend is finished in first-fill bourbon casks to deepen integration and introduce additional vanilla, citrus and caramel character. Smooth and layered, it combines orchard fruit and honeyed sweetness with butterscotch, gentle spice and a subtly smoky finish. The photographed bottle confirms the 12-year age statement and first-fill bourbon-cask finishing.

Production Notes
Up to 30 malt and grain whiskies are combined and subjected to Dewar’s two-stage ageing process. The whisky is subsequently finished in first-fill bourbon casks, promoting greater integration and adding layers of vanilla, citrus and mellow oak.
Tasting Notes
Vanilla, citrus and orchard fruit lead into a rich palate of butterscotch, cereal and soft spice. The finish is gently smoky, with oak and lingering honeyed warmth.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Islington Wines).
