Grégoire Hoppenot, formerly director of the Chapoutier family’s Beaujolais estate Maison Trénel, established his own domaine in Fleurie, where he leases nine hectares of vines along with a small parcel in Morgon.

Praised by The Wine Advocate’s William Kelley as “one of Beaujolais’ most exciting emerging talents”, Hoppenot farms vineyards now in the process of organic certification, including the noted parcels of La Roulette and Clos l’Amandier, both candidates for the forthcoming Fleurie Premier Cru designation.

With granite and sandy soils imparting freshness and precision, his winemaking is defined by a careful, hands-off approach, relying on indigenous yeasts and minimal sulphur to craft pure, expressive wines.

Note:

Occasionally, a wine’s vintage or label may change without prior notice from the producer. We do our best to keep our website accurate and up to date.

If you receive a different vintage than the one ordered, it simply means the previous vintage has sold out. If you require a specific vintage, please leave a note at checkout or contact us directly by phone or email before placing your order.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we’ll do everything we can to meet your request. Thank you for supporting a local business — we truly appreciate it!
