This medium-bodied wine matches exuberant fruit flavors with a generous dash of spicy oak. Nicely concentrated blackberry and raspberry notes fill the mouth while a juicy texture keeps it balanced.
 
THE VINEYARDS
The fruit for our Maggio Family Vineyards wine is sourced entirely from our sustainably farmed, family-owned estate vineyards in Lodi, CA. Lodi enjoys warm days and cool nights which allows the grapes to fully ripen while maintaining their natural acidity.
 
THE VINTAGE
The season got off to a slightly later start, with a delayed bud break across the region. Weather impacts on bloom contributed to a lighter crop for some varieties. Excellent quality fruit, with great freshness and vibrancy, and good flavors at lower sugar levels.
