Cascina Tetti Barolo Monsorì DOCG 2021 is a distinguished single-vineyard Barolo crafted exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the renowned Monsorì cru of La Morra. Produced using traditional winemaking techniques, this elegant wine expresses the finesse and complexity for which La Morra is celebrated. It opens with enticing aromas of rose petals, violets, ripe red cherries and raspberries, layered with notes of liquorice, tobacco, truffle and sweet spice. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, offering silky tannins, vibrant acidity and remarkable depth. Rich flavours of red berries, dried herbs, forest floor and subtle oak culminate in a long, harmonious finish with exceptional ageing potential.

Production Notes
The Nebbiolo grapes are hand-harvested from the prestigious Monsorì vineyard in La Morra. Fermentation takes place with extended skin maceration to maximise structure and aromatic complexity, followed by maturation in large Slavonian oak casks for approximately 24 months. The wine is then bottle-aged before release to develop additional elegance and balance.
Tasting Notes
Complex aromas of rose petals, violets, red cherry, raspberry and dried herbs are complemented by hints of liquorice, leather and truffle. The palate is rich and structured with polished tannins, bright acidity and flavours of red fruits, earthy minerals and sweet spice, leading to a persistent, elegant finish.
Food Pairings
Perfect with braised beef, roast lamb, venison, wild boar, truffle-based dishes, mushroom risotto, slow-cooked game, aged Parmigiano Reggiano and other mature hard cheeses. Decanting for one to two hours before serving is recommended.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies.
