Villa Le Corti Chianti Classico 2023 is an elegant, organically produced Tuscan red from the historic Corsini family estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Predominantly Sangiovese with a small addition of traditional Colorino, it captures the freshness and refinement of the cooler northern part of Chianti Classico. The estate’s elevated vineyards and soils rich in river stones and sand contribute finesse, aromatic clarity and lively acidity, while careful maturation adds gentle complexity without obscuring the vibrant fruit. The result is a balanced and versatile expression of Chianti Classico with authentic regional character.

Production Notes
Organically cultivated grapes are vinified with an emphasis on freshness and minimal intervention. The wine matures for approximately 12 months, principally in cement tanks, with a portion aged in large oak casks to add structure and complexity while preserving its pure Sangiovese character.
Tasting Notes
Bright and expressive, offering aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet and crushed flowers, supported by touches of Mediterranean herbs, tobacco, mint and subtle cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and savoury, with energetic acidity, finely textured tannins and an elegant, persistent finish.
Food Pairings
Excellent with tomato-based pasta, lasagne, Florentine steak, grilled lamb, roast pork, wild boar ragù, mushroom dishes, pizza and mature Italian cheeses such as Pecorino Toscano.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Islington Wines).
