Travaglini Gattinara Tre Vigne 2022 is a distinguished Alto Piemonte Nebbiolo created by combining grapes from three historic estate vineyards, each contributing distinctive characteristics shaped by Gattinara’s mineral-rich volcanic terroir. Positioned stylistically between the estate’s classic Gattinara and its Riserva, it combines aromatic complexity, freshness and fine tannic structure with greater depth and concentration. The wine is presented in Travaglini’s distinctive curved bottle, originally designed to catch sediment and allow mature wine to be poured without decanting.

Production Notes
Produced from hand-selected Nebbiolo grown in three Gattinara vineyards. The wine matures for approximately 40 months: most spends around 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks, while a smaller portion receives approximately ten months in French oak barriques before blending and further bottle ageing.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red with orange reflections. Aromas of cherry and strawberry combine with clove, liquorice, cinchona, subtle vegetal nuances and distinctive iron-rich minerality. The palate is elegant and fresh, with beautifully extracted tannins and a long, savoury finish.
Food Pairings
Pair with braised beef, roast lamb, venison, wild boar, mushroom risotto, truffle dishes, rich pasta, aged Taleggio, Fontina or mature Parmesan.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Islington Wines).
