Bodegas Salentein Elevado Tinto 2024 is a juicy, generously flavoured Argentine red wine combining the peppery structure of Syrah with the rich fruit and velvety texture of Malbec. Grown in the Tulum Valley of San Juan, within Argentina's Cuyo wine region, the vineyards sit approximately 650 metres above sea level. Warm, sunny conditions encourage ripe fruit, while the elevation helps preserve freshness and balance. Brief contact with French oak adds subtle smoky complexity, complementing the wine's vibrant blueberry and raspberry character.
Tasting Notes
Juicy aromas of ripe blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and plum mingle with black pepper, smoky spice and subtle oak. The palate is balanced and fruit-driven, offering rich berry flavours, rounded tannins and a long, gently spiced finish.
Production Notes
Syrah and Malbec are fermented separately and undergo malolactic conversion before blending. The wines spend four months in contact with French oak, developing a softer texture and gentle complexity. Final blending and filtration are completed before bottling to preserve the wine's vibrant fruit character.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
