Château la Croix de Grezard is an understated yet ripe and elegant right bank claret from Lussac St-Emilion, neighboring St. Emilion itself, and offering wines with similar qualities.
Owned and managed by Englishman Bill Boulter, this nine-hectare boutique estate produces reliably high-quality wines each year, showcasing the elegance of right bank Bordeaux.
The Merlot-dominated claret features soft and restrained fruit with good concentration and freshness, accompanied by developed oak spices.
Preferring to let the wines speak for themselves, Boulter and his winemaking partner Michel Danlos craft excellent wines that are just coming into their prime, making them a great match for lamb, duck, or other game birds.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Islington Wines).
