Clarendelle Bordeaux Rouge 2019 is an elegant Bordeaux red created by the winemaking team of Domaine Clarence Dillon and inspired by Château Haut-Brion. Its traditional blend is led by Merlot for roundness and ripe fruit, with Cabernet Sauvignon providing structure and Cabernet Franc adding freshness and aromatic complexity. The result is a polished, harmonious wine that balances generous fruit, soft tannins and classic Bordeaux refinement.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant garnet red with purple highlights. The expressive bouquet offers red fruit and warm spices, followed by blackberry and blackcurrant on the palate. The tannins are soft and harmonious, while subtle forest-floor and mint notes carry through to a long, elegant finish that balances freshness with power.
Production Notes
Produced from a carefully assembled blend of 76% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc. Each variety contributes its individual character, combining Merlot’s roundness with the structure and power of the Cabernet grapes to create a balanced Bordeaux red.
Food Pairing
Pair with roast beef, lamb, duck, grilled meats, mushroom dishes, rich casseroles or mature cheeses. For the best expression, decant for approximately one hour and serve at 18–20°C.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
