Taittinger Brut yellow color is both pale and bright. A strong effervescence along with profuse bubbles create a dense froth line. The nose first combines a mineral character and fermentation aromas of breadcrumbs. Then a fine, intense and sweet fruit bouquet reveals aromas of lemon fruit paste, tangerine candy and a floral hint of acacia honey. The first impression is fruity on the palate, both crisp and rich. The mid-palate is balanced, well-bodied and smooth with pink grapefruit flavors. The finale note is lively, persistent, generous and complex. In spite of being quite young, Taittinger Brut already shows an outstanding balance between refinement, elegance and delicacy. Its pervasive freshness suggests a great ageing potential.
