This 100% Nebbiolo wine offers a pure and essential introduction to the world of Nebbiolo, showcasing a consistent linearity that surprises with its clarity. Sourced from a range of vineyards stretching from Barolo to Novello, including the terracing of Bricco Bertone di Sinio, the wine blends the delicate freshness of Tortonian soils with the depth of Helvetian origins. Vajra, committed to sustainable agriculture and natural vineyard growth, practices non-irrigated cultivation with vintage-specific thinning. The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested manually in early October, with strict selection from vineyard to cellar. Fermentation lasts about 15 days, followed by six months of aging in steel tanks with minimal wood influence before bottling. The result is a ruby-colored wine, sometimes delicate and transparent, with intense and expressive notes of violet, rose fanée, and fresh small red fruits.
