Château Sénéjac is among the most striking estates in the region, with a rich and compelling history that spans more than five centuries. The first vines were planted in the sixteenth century by Nicolas de Blois, the earliest known owner of the property. Over time, the estate passed through the hands of various nobles and members of the gentry.

A decisive turning point came when Lorraine Cordier, owner of Château Talbot, acquired the château and brought renewed momentum to the vineyards, with the ambition of establishing Sénéjac among the leading crus of the Médoc.

Following her passing in 2011, the estate was assumed by her sister, Nancy Bignon-Cordier, together with her three children. Today, the vineyard is sustainably farmed and certified under the High Environmental Value (HVE) program.
