The vineyard's sandy, loamy soils are rich in rocky deposits, known locally as "skeleton," which lend depth and elegance to this wine while preserving the traditional character of this historic winemaking region. Produced by the Antinori family, who released the first vintage in 2001, Vigneto Santa Pia beautifully captures the essence of Montepulciano’s terroir in every bottle.
