The third mezcal in the esteemed Clase Azul collection, Mezcal San Luis Potosí is a tribute to the rugged beauty of its namesake region. Crafted from green agave—an indigenous plant thriving in the arid valleys of San Luis Potosí—this expression captures the spirit of the desert in both flavour and form.
On the nose, it reveals an earthy, enchanting bouquet, unfolding into layers of dried fruit, subtle smokiness, and a bright hint of citrus zest. The palate is smooth and elegant, finishing with a gentle warmth and a whisper of spice.
The decanter is a masterpiece in itself. Handcrafted ceramic reflects the sweeping desert landscape, where mountains and valleys meet under the flight of vivid red finches. Topped with a cap adorned using traditional coloured yarn appliqué, each piece is meticulously handmade by Mexican artisans—a process that takes over three hours to complete.
