Bodega Norton's Lote Negro is the maximum expression of the Valle de Uco and its terroir. Using this unique terroir the talented winemaking team at Norton have blended carefully selected Malbec (60%) with Cabernet Franc (40%) to create a perfectly balanced wine that showcases the outstanding qualities of the Valle de Uco. Aged for 16 months in new French oak and a further 12 months in bottle prior to release, Lote Negro is intense dark red in colour with blackberry and raspberry fruit aromas, combined with complex spiced notes and mint. This is a wine with great structure, with intense fruit flavours and an elegant lingering finish.
