All of Lidio Carraro wines are made in the absence of oak. This allows the natural expression of the grape to express itself truly. All of the Carraro wines are part of the “Natural” wine movement, meaning that the human influence is kept to an absolute minimum with zero use of cultured yeasts, agro-chemicals, no additives, fining or corrective interventions. It is very much a movement that is an extension of both Organic and Biodynamic viticulture.
Coffee and lightly smoked toasted notes appear in the foreground, leading to strawberry jelly, dried fruit, fig, raisins, almonds, walnuts, chestnut and cocoa hints. This is a full wine with lots of elegance, structure, freshness and finesse. Brazilian wine at its finest.
