A slightly restrained nose: fruity, then aromas of violet and raspberry gently develop. A supremely elegant violet finish.
The Fleurie vineyards are located in the northern half of the Beaujolais area. The Gamay grape finds granite and slate with clay here and there as a breeding ground. This makes this wine one of the most powerful Beaujolais wines. This certainly applies to this Fleurie. The wine is now perfectly drinkable, but can also easily age a few years.
This Fleurie is a good companion for fine, naturally prepared or lightly seasoned meat dishes. Also delicious with lamb, poultry and white meat.
