Produced from 100% Aleatico, a red Italian variety grown in the vineyards of Antinori’s Fattoria Aldobrandesca estate near the historical village of Sovana in southern Tuscany. The Antinori family have been producing wine in Tuscany for six centuries, and have become Tuscany’s – arguably Italy’s – pre-eminent wine producer. The pale coral colour belies the intensity of the aromas of rose petals and red berries, which follow through on the palate. The fresh acidity lifts the intense fruit flavours, giving a lengthy, balanced finish.
