The story of Moët & Chandon Champagne began in 1743 when Claude Moët founded the house, quickly earning acclaim in European courts. Jean-Rémy Moët, Claude’s grandson, elevated its fame internationally and created the iconic Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial, honoring Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who visited the estate and popularized uncorking Moët to celebrate victories. Now part of the LVMH group, the house meticulously selects Champagne terroirs to produce renowned cuvées, including the Moët Rosé introduced in 1996. Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial, crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay with reserve wines, is celebrated for its golden hue, enticing bouquet of white fruits, citrus, floral, and pastry notes, and a perfectly balanced, delightful palate.
